Every now and then we like to focus on leadership-development programs taking place outside the U.S. Today we note one in the United Arab Emirates:
GEMS (Global Education Management Systems), a leading education provider in the region, yesterday commenced a 13-month training programme for senior leaders in all GEMS schools who aim to become heads of schools.
The programme complements the UK’s NPQH [National Professional Qualification for Headship]. The GEMS course will provide individuals with the foundation to develop leadership skills, optimize performance and establish centers of excellence.
