Mission Statement
The mission of the New Teacher Center is to improve student learning by supporting the development of an inspired, dedicated, and highly qualified teaching force. Effective leadership is essential to the accomplishment of that mission. School administrators who are teacher leaders, and who have a deep understanding of teaching and learning in relation to both adults and children, are essential to school improvement. The commitment of CLASS coaches is to support the development of principals as instructional leaders who will positively impact student achievement at their sites.
