First Ring Leadership Academy | Cleveland State University in Partnership with the First Ring School Superintendents Collaborative

Instruction

The First Ring Leadership Academy’s curriculum is designed by the executive director, the coordinator & selected school leaders. The curriculum is standards-based and directly links to the real work of leaders in First Ring schools. Typically two Academy faculty members facilitate each session. The Academy faculty consists of exemplary school leaders currently serving in administrative positions in the First Ring. The Academy has established a faculty training program for graduates of the Academy to become full faculty members. Instruction follows an adult learning model with emphasis on large and small group discussion, implementation skills, and some demonstration.
