Indiana Principal Leadership Academy (IPLA) | Indiana Department of Education
Activities
Each training phase, planned by a selected facilitation team, includes active participation, group interactions, presentations by experts of national and local notoriety with opportunities for personal reflection and ideas for application “back at school”. The facilitation team is divided into nine groups so each facilitator oversees approximately 15 people. This smaller learning community helps participants feel more connected to the program and allows for better group discussions participation. The activities are reinforced with homework assignments, streaming video, a quarterly newsletter with session highlights, selected readings and network-facilitator communications.
