Activities: More Details

“Leadership and Apollo 13” was an introduction for a group of 100 just starting the program. This morning session used clips from the movie “Apollo 13”, with opportunities for participants to reflect and discuss the leadership involved in crisis management, problem solving, teamwork, flexibility, etc. This powerful morning was intense as people relived a time of uncertainty and concern with the clock ticking. The tradition of this activity sets the stage for teaming with a common language, connection to school, use of technology and a shared experience.
