Indiana Principal Leadership Academy (IPLA) | Indiana Department of Education
Obstacles
Although the program offers opportunities for 100 administrators each year, there are still many principals in the state who would like at attend.
In an informal survey, 50% of the principals in the current group have 1-5 years experience. This information changes the level of understanding, experience, and needs of the participants. The range of knowledge is wide, so information needs to be appropriate for all levels or have opportunities for personalized instruction.
