Learner-Centered Leadership for Language and Culturally Diverse Schools in High-Needs Urban Settings | Arizona State University
Instruction
Program instruction is developed and delivered through collaborative efforts by university professors and experienced school administrators. Certification courses taught for state certification have been co-taught by educational administration faculty and district administrators (such as superintendents, principals, and directors). Workshops and institutes are developed collaboratively from the project team (district administrators and liaisons, university faculty and academic professionals) and facilitated by teams of exemplary administrators.
Mentoring largely takes place in district and school settings. Mentors meet monthly with individual participants in their districts. District-wide mentoring sessions are held six times during the school year.
