Learner-Centered Leadership for Language and Culturally Diverse Schools in High-Needs Urban Settings | Arizona State University
Populations Targeted
The Learner-Centered Leadership program is for aspiring, rising, and experienced school administrators -- at all K-12 school levels, that work in high needs urban schools, and with linguistically and culturally diverse school communities. The least experienced participants are teachers with 3-5 years of successful teaching experiences with many examples of more experienced teachers participating in the aspiring administrator certification program. Rising administrators are usually in the first five years of their current administrative appointment, dean of students, assistant principal or principal. Exemplary and mentoring principals and administrators are identified by their districts and are generally experienced administrators with long standing status in their respective districts.
