Program Goals
The goals of the project are threefold: Goal 1: Provide comprehensive and sustained professional development to current and prospective principals in each of three areas: instructional leadership, community leadership, and systems management skills. Goal 2: Determine and enact a district-wide effort to improve the overall academic achievement of students attending schools in Northern New Mexico that are in need of strong and effective school leaders. Goal 3: Describe and develop a sustainable model for professional development and support for principals across the Northern New Mexico network that can be effectively implemented after the grant period by participating school districts.
