New Leaders for New Schools
Participants
During the 2005-06 school year 231 New Leaders are driving change in our nation’s urban public schools. This number includes 79 residents and 152 principals, assistant principals, or other educators who have come through our program since 2001. New Leaders range in age from mid-20s to mid-50s and nearly two-thirds are people of color. One hundred new residents will join us in 2006.
