New Leaders for New Schools
Timeframe
The New Leaders program lasts three years. During the first year, New Leaders aspiring principals commit to a year of intensive, hands-on experiential training. They work as Residents in a public district or charter school under the guidance of a mentor principal while completing demanding coursework. New Leaders receive two additional years of coaching and support from New Leaders for New Schools while leading schools of their own. Upon completion of the program, New Leaders actively participate in the national alumni network.
