Learning Priorities


While each of the standards is reflected in the model Framework for School Leadership Accomplishments, Standard Two: Contextual Understanding and Standard Three: Planning and Organization serve as foundational standards for each of the three strands. The other nine standards: Foundations for Leadership, Content Knowledge Instruction, Individualization of Instruction, Management and Evaluation of Instruction, Supervision of Personnel, Supervision of Student Conduct, Resources, School Site Safety and Maintenance, and Parent and Community Involvement, are selected by participants as areas for emphasis and concentration based on the needs of their schools and which area(s) if successfully addressed will have the greatest impact on student achievement.
