Program Goals

The overarching goal for the program is improved school leadership that assures learning for all students in high-need rural schools in eastern Kentucky. The two immediate desired outcomes were transformation of the principalship and expansion of the candidate pool in Pike County. The long-term desired outcome from PEP is a sustained momentum of visionary leadership that guarantees continuously improved student academic achievement.
