School Leadership Executive Institute (SLEI) | South Carolina Department of Education

Activities: More Details

One of the most valuable activities of SLEI is the Educators Leadership Development Program (ELDP) session. This is the first session held at CCL. In the ELDP each principal first receives an in-depth 360-degree appraisal of their leadership styles and behaviors from a wide range of observers such as superiors, direct reports, peers and other professional colleagues in the program. A feedback specialist at CCL reviews all of the 360 degree survey results and other available information and provides one-on-one feedback to the principals on their self perceptions, perceptions of others and strategies for self improvement. This session provides the foundation for futures leadership sessions as well as the individual development plan.
