va-Lead: A Partnership with The Commonwealth of Virginia
e-Lead is excited to announce va-Lead, a new partnership with the Commonwealth of Virginia. As part of a joint venture with the Virginia State Action for Education Leadership Project (SAELP), which is funded by The Wallace Foundation and housed at Virginia Commonwealth University, e-Lead has added descriptions of more than 125 unique in-service professional-development programs for school leaders that serve the Commonwealth. In doing so the va-Lead partnership promotes and makes widely available Virginia's extensive network of quality standards-based professional-development programs to 1) school districts seeking to implement their own programs and 2) prospective customers who wishing to take part in existing programs.
Using this partnership as a basis, va-Lead will also allow e-Lead to promote expansion of this valuable service to other U.S. states.
