Program Description
The new licensure regulations being developed call for the implementation of a two-tiered licensure system for school leaders as recommended by the Commission to Review, Study, and Reform Educational Leadership. This proposal will be available for public comment and will then require training and awareness sessions for all affected stakeholders.Virginia Standard(s) Addressed

Program Goals and Objectives
By the end of this program participants will be aware of the Two Tiers of Licensure, the requirements for each tier, and the rationale behind them.Program Format
This program will be implemented as a series of meetings and forums to inform various stakeholder groups of the licensure requirements.Target Audience
