The Relentless Pursuit of Excellence: Helping All Learners To Succeed | Dr. Pam Robbins
Program Description
Leaders in successful businesses that have sustained a high performance record over time possess a "relentless commitment to excellence" rather than a specific program. This commitment is grounded in both a personal leadership vision and a shared vision of excellence on the part of organizational members. This session will provide participants with specific guidelines regarding how to develop a personal leadership vision, a shared vision, and strategies for communicating the vision. In addition, the session will demonstrate how to foster continuous improvement through staff development programs that address need areas highlighted by program evaluation results. The emphasis will be on providing professional learning experiences for staff members that support school leaders in addressing goals specified in school improvement plans as well as need areas indicated in SOL testing results. Every participant will leave the session with a packet filled with practical tools that can be applied immediately.Virginia Standard(s) Addressed
